COVID-19: J&K records two fresh deaths in a day, toll 96 | KNO

Srinagar, June 29 (KNO): Two more patients who were tested positive for Coronavirus died in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, taking the toll of total deaths related to Covid-19 to 96 Two patients who were tested positive for Coronavirus include 45-year-old male from Bijbehara area of Anantnag and 65-year male from Sugan area of Shopian district. Both died at SMHS hospital Srinagar. Dr Nazir Choudhary Medical Superintendent at SMHS told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a 45-year-old man from Anantnag who was admitted at SMHS on Sunday with bilateral pneumonia died at hospital on Monday afternoon. Earlier, Dr Nazir said that a 65-year-old patient from Shopian district who was admitted at SMHS on 28th of June died on Monday morning. "He was admitted as a community acquired pneumonia (CAP) patient and was also suffering from hypertension, fever, cough and other ailments,'' he said, adding that both patients were tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. With his death, deaths related to Covid-19 have reached to 96 in the UT including 85 from Kashmir division and 11 from Jammu division—(KNO)
